For your piece today, I would like you to focus on shoes. Any aspect of shoes is fine: shopping for your first pair of high heels, your father teaching you how to shine your shoes, walking to safety after a car accident in just one shoe, choosing the shoes for a dead relative to be buried in, or losing your sandals on a carnival ride.
